| Hey guys,
My roommate from TU, Amy Scholz, was in a snowskiing accident in Colorado while at a campus ministry conference. She fell and hit her head, and was nonresponsive after a few minutes. They life-flighted her to a hospital outside of Denver, where she had surgery last night to relieve pressure to the brain. So far as we know, the doctors are "cautiously optimistic," but Amy is still in a coma (induced or not, I'm not sure) as of 10:00 am.
Please be in prayer for her. I love her a lot, and she is dear to me.

| Hey! I haven't done much in the way of blogging all semester. I suppose I found plenty of others things to occupy my time.
For those who are interested, I am starting a new random thoughts/update blog.

| Freshmen Orientation was tiring, exciting, stressful, fun, and OVER!!
Classes begin on Monday...whoa. Busy times, here I come!
One of my goals this semester, however, is to NOT be busy :) |

| I think I'm getting the hang of these graffiti pictures. This one's for Katie :)

I am leaving for my 5-day hike in the wilderness on Saturday at 5 a.m.! Yay for a week of no showers, no deodorant, no soap, no toilets, no toilet paper, no traffic, no cars, no civilization, no shaving, no electricity... We will be carrying 40 lb packs and going 28 miles or so in 12,000ft+ altitude. Yippee! I am way excited!
Right after Colorado is done, the caravan is driving to Tulsa to drop me off. So I'll be in town on the 5th, spend the night some place, go to Orientation Leaders training in the morning, then move into my apartamento!! More yay! |

| Yesterday I got to touch my first iPhone. It was a glorious moment, and it happened in church. Fitting. (Yes, I am a little obsessed :o) ). It was beautiful. Just enough weight, but not too much. Sleek, smooth, flawless action :D. Oh, I'm in love... in love in love in love... :D
I'm not sure how practical this thing actually is. But it's Apple. Who's looking at the practical factor? The masses demand ROCK-YOUR-SOCKS-OFF COOLNESS! :)
In the real world... I miss my Tulsa friends. And I am feeling very burdened by sin and by the pressure of trying to pretend to "grow up." It's an interesting place to be. |
